Hello! Thanks for visiting my site. I’m an award-winning comedy writer and author of children’s books. I’ve also written dozens of published articles, short stories, creative nonfiction, and poems.

I love, love, love making humans laugh, spreading joy through storytelling, and sharing what I’ve learned. So much so that while working as a creative arts professor at Rowan University, I created a comedy course and the site R U Joking?. I also focused on comedy writing during my MFA studies and took classes at Second City.

While at Rutgers University, I earned a Master's in Fine Arts in Creative Writing and a Master’s in Teaching from The College of New Jersey. For over twenty years, I’ve taught storytelling, comedy, and creative writing. When I’m not creating or teaching, I design instruction, surf, and swim.
